Iran’s envoy to China says that the Iran-China 25-Year Strategic Partnership Agreement is moving forward. Moreover, he adds that many parts of this deal already work in practice. He explains that strategic partnership growth will guide the next steps of cooperation between the two nations. Therefore, both sides expect stronger results.

He makes these comments during a long meeting with the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament. The meeting lasts more than three hours. Meanwhile, the envoy gives a clear report on political, economic, cultural, and trade ties with China. In addition, he says that strategic partnership growth helps both sides expand their cooperation.

He explains that the agreement signed in 2021 aims to expand relations for 25 years. Furthermore, the plan covers trade, investment, energy, transportation, technology, and cultural projects. He notes that President Pezeshkian’s recent visit to China creates positive results. As a result, more joint work now takes shape because both sides want stronger relations.

Members of the commission stress the need for a clear roadmap. Additionally, they want organized steps that support the plan with China. They also call for stronger cooperation in many fields. However, they say that Iran’s ties with China are strategic and that officials must focus on long-term goals. Consequently, they agree that strategic partnership growth must guide major decisions.

The envoy explains that the agreement includes large economic plans. Moreover, a draft version of the deal says China will invest around 400 billion dollars in Iran over 25 years. In return, Iran will provide a steady supply of oil. This part of the plan aims to help Iran increase energy sales and attract foreign investment. He states that both sides want steady progress and open communication. At the same time, they try to remove delays.

The envoy also says that Iran and China work together in diplomacy, security, and regional matters. In addition, they try to support stability and development. He adds that both countries see each other as important partners in a changing world. Later, he notes that long-term plans help both sides prepare for future projects.

He concludes by saying that the agreement serves as a major framework for cooperation. Therefore, he expects more results in the coming years. Iran plans to expand trade routes, energy projects, and cultural exchanges with China. Finally, he says that the deal will support growth, stability, and stronger ties between the two nations over time.
