Tehran police arrest 70 suspects in a major operation targeting theft rings across the city. The head of Tehran’s Criminal Investigation Department, Brigadier General Ali Valipour Goudarzi, confirmed the arrests during a press briefing. He emphasized that public safety remains a top priority for local law enforcement.

The coordinated effort dismantled multiple criminal networks operating throughout Tehran. Police recovered 350 stolen mobile phones, two firearms, and other stolen items from the suspects’ hideouts. Authorities plan to return the recovered property to its rightful owners promptly.

General Valipour Goudarzi explained that some suspects resisted arrest, which resulted in injuries. Three individuals sustained gunshot wounds during confrontations and are currently receiving medical treatment. Officials confirmed that the situation is now under control, and police continue to monitor high-risk areas.

The police chief reiterated that Tehran police arrest operations will not tolerate violent behavior. “Security and peace of mind for citizens are our non-negotiable priorities,” he stated. He also warned that armed and violent offenders will face strict legal consequences.

In addition, the general urged residents to remain vigilant and take personal safety measures. He assured the public that police forces will respond promptly to any threats or criminal activities. Local authorities are actively coordinating with judicial officials to ensure that the suspects face proper legal proceedings.

Police spokespersons emphasized the importance of public cooperation in maintaining law and order. Citizens were encouraged to report suspicious activities and avoid risky areas whenever possible. Furthermore, the operation highlighted the effectiveness of coordinated law enforcement strategies.

The arrest of these 70 suspects demonstrates Tehran police arrest efforts to protect communities from organized crime. Investigators continue to examine the networks involved to prevent further theft incidents. Officials stressed that ongoing vigilance and timely interventions are essential for reducing crime rates. Through these measures, the police aim to create a safer environment for all residents.

The operation serves as a clear warning to criminals that Tehran authorities will act decisively. Citizens can expect continued police presence and swift action against those threatening public safety.

Overall, the recent crackdown marks a strong step toward ensuring security and stability across Tehran. With recovered property returned and suspects facing legal consequences, law enforcement signals that crime will not go unchecked.
