The commander of the IRGC Quds Force says the resistance front stronger than ever before. Brigadier General Esmail Qa’ani posted this message on social media on Sunday. He dismissed Israel’s recent claims about destroying Hezbollah’s capabilities in Lebanon. The general stated that unity across the broader resistance front has grown. Therefore, the resistance front stronger despite Israeli military operations against it.

Qa’ani emphasized that Hezbollah does not fight alone in this conflict. The entire resistance front stands alongside the group’s fighters. These forces are defending, accordingly, Lebanon’s sovereignty against Israeli aggression. “Today, the primary focus remains on supporting Hezbollah,” Qa’ani wrote. All other components of the resistance receive, consequently, similar support from Tehran.

The IRGC commander further criticized Israel’s military record over many years. “The Israeli regime has failed over the years to end wars on its terms,” he stated. Israel has not achieved, indeed, its stated objectives in any recent conflict. Qa’ani’s assessment reflected, therefore, a long-standing pattern of Israeli military frustrations. The resistance front stronger now than during previous confrontations.

The US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran began on February 28. This conflict drew in resistance forces from across the entire region. Fighters from Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq joined the hostilities. Tehran and Washington agreed to a Pakistani-mediated ceasefire on April 8. Washington formally accepted, specifically, Tehran’s 10-point proposal for peace.

That proposal demanded a cessation of hostilities on all fronts. The agreement included, notably, a halt to fighting in Lebanon as well. The U.S. and Israeli leadership claimed, however, that Lebanon was not part of the deal. Israel launched devastating attacks on Lebanon shortly after the Iran ceasefire. More than 300 people died, unfortunately, in a single day of those strikes.

Iran responded by making continued U.S. talks conditional on Lebanon’s safety. The first round of Iran-US negotiations occurred in Islamabad on April 11. Tehran stated clearly, consequently, that Israel must cease attacks on Lebanon. A separate ceasefire for Lebanon was subsequently announced on April 16. This truce has been, nevertheless, systematically violated by Israeli forces.

Lebanese authorities have documented at least 2,500 deaths since early March. The Israeli military resumed its attacks on Lebanon at that time. Civilians have suffered, unfortunately, the heaviest casualties in this renewed violence. Israeli forces have also demolished homes in southern Lebanese villages. The resistance front stronger now in response to these escalating attacks.

Hezbollah continues to carry out military operations against Israeli positions. The group acts in retaliation, therefore, for Israeli ceasefire violations. Hezbollah also responds, consequently, to attacks on civilians and home demolitions. The resistance fighters have conducted several strategic strikes in recent weeks. These operations include drone and artillery strikes on troop gatherings.

Hezbollah fighters have also destroyed a military bulldozer recently. A rocket salvo targeted, specifically, an illegal Jewish settlement. The occupied territories have experienced, indeed, increasing military pressure from Hezbollah. The resistance front stronger now than at any previous point. General Qa’ani’s assessment appears, therefore, to reflect ground realities.

Israeli military analysts have expressed concern about Hezbollah’s capabilities. The group has not been weakened despite Israeli claims. Qa’ani dismissed those claims as false and misleading. The resistance maintains, consequently, significant offensive and defensive capacities. Lebanon’s sovereignty remains, after all, a central issue in this conflict.

The coming weeks will test the fragile Lebanese ceasefire further. Israeli violations continue despite international calls for restraint. Hezbollah retains the right to respond proportionally to aggression. The resistance front stronger now and ready for any escalation. Regional stability depends, therefore, on Israel’s compliance with the April 16 truce.
