Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi praised the large public turnout during nationwide events marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution on Tuesday. At the same time, he spoke while attending the celebrations in Tehran and highlighted the scale of public participation. Across the country, large crowds gathered in the capital and other major cities. In addition, streets filled with marchers holding flags and banners. As a result, the events showed strong public engagement and national unity.

During conversations with reporters at the rallies, Araghchi explained the importance of public support in foreign policy. In his view, public participation strengthens Iran’s position in talks with world powers. Moreover, unity at home increases confidence at the negotiating table. The foreign minister also linked the public turnout to ongoing nuclear negotiations with the United States. For this reason, he said strong crowds send a clear message to foreign governments. Furthermore, he added that voices from the streets influence talks beyond Iran’s borders.

Araghchi described the day as uplifting for officials involved in diplomacy. Because of the positive atmosphere, morale inside the negotiating team rose. Consequently, this encouragement matters during sensitive discussions. In addition, Araghchi praised support from Iran’s armed forces and leadership. According to him, cooperation between institutions strengthens Iran’s diplomatic path. Therefore, unity among state bodies and the public creates a stronger national position.

On diplomacy, Araghchi said Iran seeks talks based on respect and balance. In this context, domestic backing allows negotiators to defend national interests firmly. As a result, effective diplomacy depends on public trust and unity. Regarding the talks process, Araghchi confirmed that negotiations continue through mediation channels. However, officials have not yet set a date for the next round. Meanwhile, Oman remains an important mediator in the process. In closing, Araghchi thanked the public for their participation and awareness. Overall, the 22 Bahman rallies showed unity across generations and regions. Ultimately, he emphasized that national strength begins with active public involvement.
