Tehran summoned Germany’s ambassador to protest recent hostile measures taken by Berlin against the Islamic Republic. The Iranian Foreign Ministry expressed serious concern over actions that undermine bilateral relations and violate international norms. Axel Dittmann, Germany’s Ambassador to Iran, met with Alireza Yousefi, Director General for Western Europe Affairs at Iran’s Foreign Ministry. During the meeting, Yousefi formally conveyed Tehran’s strong protest regarding Germany’s latest positions. He emphasized that such actions deliberately damage the trust between the two countries.
