Iran’s Parliament speaker said the US talks with Iran are not real. He accused the United States of using pressure and deception to force Iran to surrender. Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf held a press conference in Tehran. He said the 12-day conflict with Israel and the US showed that Iran does not give in to threats. He also pointed out that the US attacked the negotiation process, proving it does not seek real talks.
Just two days before a planned meeting, the US bombed the area where talks were supposed to happen. This action shows that the US has chosen confrontation instead of dialogue. After the conflict, Qalibaf said the US and its allies demanded that Iran reduce its missile range. He stressed that defending the country is non-negotiable and Iran will not compromise on it.
He accused the US of lying and conspiring during negotiations. The US tried to pressure Iran instead of resolving issues. Qalibaf called the 12-day conflict a planned aggression by Israel with US support. Iran responded quickly and gained control over the situation. Within five days, Iranian forces dominated the enemy’s air and ground operations.
He credited the success to Iran’s Supreme Leader, the people’s sacrifices, and the precise work of the armed forces. He emphasized that Iran draws strength not only from military power but also from the support of its people. Qalibaf highlighted lessons from recent military operations. Iran launched over 100 missiles and hit more than 70% of targets. He called this a major military achievement.
Finally, he warned that any future aggression by the US or Israel will face an even stronger response. Iran’s military stands ready to act quickly and effectively if attacked again. He concluded that US talks are not real and emphasized that Iran’s people and forces remain united and ready to defend the country at all costs.
