The protests in Iran have continued for ten consecutive days, reflecting growing public anger across the country. Meanwhile, demonstrators marched in multiple cities, including Lahiijan, demanding accountability and change. As a result, the unrest has drawn international attention due to government responses. Authorities reportedly used force against protesters, and they entered Imam Khomeini Hospital in Ilam, prompting an urgent investigation. Since the demonstrations began, at least 29 people have died and more than 300 have suffered injuries. In addition, the unrest now affects public spaces, hospitals, and major urban centers.

President Masoud Pezeshkian ordered an immediate inquiry into the hospital attack. He emphasized that citizens’ grievances reflect collective responsibility and warned that violent actions could worsen the situation. Public dissatisfaction has grown amid economic hardship and frustration with government policies. International observers have expressed concern over civilian casualties. The United States criticized the hospital incident, calling it a severe violation of human rights. Furthermore, analysts say such events could affect Iran’s diplomatic relations and regional stability. The ongoing unrest repeatedly highlights tensions between citizens and security forces.

Eyewitnesses reported a heavy police presence in Tehran, Lahiijan, and other cities. Protesters waved banners, chanted slogans, and demanded policy changes. Security forces used tear gas and other measures to disperse crowds. Consequently, authorities have confirmed multiple injuries and fatalities Political analysts note that the demonstrations reflect deep societal dissatisfaction. Economic struggles, inflation, and restrictions on freedoms drive the unrest. Officials face pressure to respond while maintaining public order. Despite this, analysts warn that continued demonstrations may attract further international scrutiny.

Medical professionals and human rights advocates condemned attacks on hospitals and civilians. Authorities pledged to investigate and hold responsible parties accountable. The unrest may continue until officials address citizens’ concerns effectively. Looking ahead, officials are expected to implement measures to reduce tensions. Monitoring groups predict that protests could spread to additional cities. Analysts agree that these demonstrations represent significant political and social challenges for the government.
