An army helicopter crashed in Isfahan killed four people on Tuesday morning in the Dorcheh district of Khomeini Shahr, officials confirmed. The helicopter went down inside a busy wholesale fruit and vegetable market, killing both military crew members and civilians. The helicopter belonged to the Army and was on a routine training flight at the time of the incident. It crashed inside the market compound in Dorcheh, a populated area of Isfahan Province. The impact caused severe damage at the site and led to immediate casualties.

Both the pilot and the co-pilot died in the crash. Officials said the aircraft was not carrying any passengers. The force of the impact left no chance of survival for the crew. Two civilians were also killed. They were working at market stalls when the helicopter crashed. Emergency teams arrived shortly after the incident, but they were unable to rescue the victims. Authorities later confirmed their deaths at the scene.

Police and rescue teams closed the market following the crash. Officials secured the area to prevent further danger and to allow investigators to work. Crews later removed debris and wreckage from the site. Several witnesses said they heard a loud noise before seeing smoke rise from the market. Some claimed the helicopter appeared unstable moments before the crash. Officials have not confirmed these accounts.

Investigators have not yet announced the cause of the army helicopter crash in Isfahan. Technical teams are reviewing flight data, maintenance records, and weather conditions. They are also inspecting the wreckage for possible mechanical failure or human error. Local authorities expressed condolences to the families of the victims. They said the government will support those affected. The Army stated that it will fully cooperate with the investigation.

Military training flights take place regularly in the region. However, incidents involving civilian deaths remain uncommon. The crash has renewed concerns about flight safety near crowded areas. Officials urged the public to wait for official findings and avoid speculation. They said they will release more information once the investigation concludes.
