Iran’s unity emerged as a central theme in recent statements from Iranian officials. Leaders in Tehran say foreign attempts to divide the country failed. Ali Larijani discussed the issue during a recent interview with Iranian media. He addressed tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. According to Larijani, some foreign actors tried to persuade Kurdish groups to oppose Tehran. However, those efforts did not succeed.

He described Kurdish communities as a historic part of Iranian society. Kurdish citizens, he said, rejected outside political pressure. During the interview, Larijani emphasized Iran’s unity while discussing regional tensions. He argued that foreign governments misunderstood Iran’s internal dynamics. His remarks followed several days of political and military escalation in the region. Officials from multiple countries exchanged strong statements during the period.

Larijani suggested the confrontation reflects a broader geopolitical strategy. In his view, external powers want to weaken Iran through internal divisions. He also referred to statements from U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump recently suggested pressure could destabilize Iran’s political system. Larijani rejected those claims and insisted the country remains stable. National solidarity, he said, continues to shape Iran’s response.

He also claimed foreign officials contacted groups in Kurdish areas. Those contacts reportedly included promises of support. Most Kurdish citizens refused those offers, according to Larijani. Regional history influenced that reaction. Communities across the Middle East have witnessed decades of foreign intervention. Conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan remain strong memories.

Because of those experiences, many people distrust outside involvement. This sentiment strengthened Iran’s unity during the crisis. Larijani also described the early days of the confrontation. Initial attacks created shock among citizens. At the same time, public morale remained strong across the country. Many communities expressed determination to defend national stability.

Government ministries worked quickly to maintain essential supplies. Fuel and basic goods remained available during the tense period. Larijani also accused foreign actors of spreading psychological pressure online. Those campaigns aimed to weaken public confidence. However, he said the efforts failed to change national sentiment. Instead, officials again pointed to Iran’s unity as a key factor.
