Full battle readiness now defines Iran’s military posture. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei confirmed this stance on Wednesday. He spoke to an Indian news outlet. Baghaei warned that Iran’s armed forces can handle any scenario. That includes a potential American ground attack. Therefore, Tehran has prepared for the worst outcome. Baghaei also expressed deep distrust toward U.S. diplomacy. He told reporters to view American overtures with skepticism. Washington has a long history of broken promises. For example, the U.S. withdrew from the 2015 nuclear deal.

Furthermore, Washington supported Israel during a 12-day war last June. Then, the U.S. repeated this behavior on February 28. As a result, Iran no longer trusts any American pledge. Baghaei called the current U.S. attacks barbaric. He then addressed claims of indirect negotiations. However, there are absolutely no talks right now. Instead, Tehran has received messages through mediators. Those messages contain maximalist and unreasonable demands. For instance, Washington wants Iran to abandon peaceful nuclear energy. Additionally, the U.S. demands severe cuts to Iran’s missile program. Consequently, Iranian officials see no room for compromise.

Therefore, Iran views these messages with deep suspicion. Baghaei stated that nothing will distract the nation. Their sacred duty remains defending their land. Thus, full battle readiness drives all current military planning. The armed forces have mobilized accordingly. Recent hostilities began with unprovoked American-Israeli aggression. In response, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4. As a result, Iranian forces have staged at least 89 counterstrike waves. These attacks target sensitive American and Israeli assets. Each wave has proven successful. Thus, the situation remains highly volatile. Meanwhile, both sides watch for the next escalation.

Military analysts note this major escalation. Nonetheless, Iran demonstrates prolonged engagement capacity. Furthermore, these strikes hit strategic locations. For example, targets include command centers and supply depots. Hence, damage to U.S. and Israeli operations continues to grow. Politically, the standoff isolates Washington further. Meanwhile, Tehran uses this skepticism to bolster domestic support. Therefore, the leadership faces little pressure to back down. Looking ahead, full battle readiness could deter a U.S. invasion.

Alternatively, miscalculation might spark wider conflict. Diplomatic channels remain completely closed. Therefore, any future talks require major U.S. concessions. Finally, the international community watches with concern. Business implications also matter. Gulf oil markets show increased volatility. Consequently, insurance premiums for tankers have risen. Hence, investors should monitor this situation closely. In summary, full battle readiness guides every Iranian decision. Diplomacy has failed for the moment. As a result, retaliatory strikes will likely continue. Finally, both nations face a dangerous path forward.
