The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has officially rejected allegations of recent direct communication between Iranian leadership and Donald Trump. The formal denial follows a major American television report suggesting that a senior official initiated a phone call. According to the report the unnamed representative allegedly requested an immediate halt to ongoing military operations.

Iranian media quickly dismissed the narrative as a strategic fabrication intended to avoid direct conflict. Military commanders emphasized their refusal to negotiate under pressure, stating that threats would not lead to political concessions. The official response therefore shifted focus away from any suggestion of diplomatic engagement and back toward a defensive posture.

Defense officials stated that past events demonstrate national readiness to repel external military action. They warned that any future acts of aggression would be met with an immediate and decisive response. The warning was said to apply both to imminent threats and to potential security challenges in the coming weeks.

Officials added that communication between the two sides has historically relied on neutral international intermediaries rather than direct telephone contact. Observers noted that public disclosures of this kind often aim to influence domestic political audiences. Regional analysts also suggested that the report may reflect broader psychological competition between the two sides.

The latest escalation comes amid increased naval deployments and heightened security alerts across the Middle East. Financial markets briefly reacted with fluctuations in global crude oil prices following the reports. However regional diplomats continue to call for restraint in order to prevent escalation in critical shipping corridors.

The denial underscores the ongoing breakdown in communication between Washington and Tehran. Looking ahead international monitors expect increased surveillance activity along sensitive maritime boundaries in the coming weeks. For now both sides appear focused on maintaining strong defense postures without moving toward formal negotiations.
