Iran and the United Arab Emirates are set to advance their aviation cooperation through a new aviation agreement. This agreement comes during the official visit of Hosein Pourfarzaneh, head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization, to the UAE. The visit follows an invitation from Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE.

Officials from both countries are holding joint meetings to expand collaboration in the aviation sector. The discussions focus on enhancing flight safety, sharing technical expertise, and developing joint research initiatives. Experts from Iran and the UAE are also exploring ways to improve training programs for aviation personnel.

The preliminary aviation agreement will cover key areas such as air navigation, safety, and research cooperation. Leaders from both sides hope that this agreement will pave the way for more regular flights between Iran and the UAE. They also aim to strengthen regional air services and increase connectivity.

During the talks, both countries emphasized the importance of modernizing air traffic management. They discussed methods to enhance operational efficiency and minimize risks in aviation operations. The agreement is expected to support the adoption of advanced technologies and innovative procedures in air navigation.

Expanding airline connections is another priority of the aviation agreement. Officials want to facilitate smoother travel for passengers and increase the frequency of commercial flights. This initiative also aims to promote tourism, business travel, and cultural exchanges between the two nations.

In addition, the aviation agreement emphasizes joint research and development projects. These projects will allow both countries to share knowledge, improve safety protocols, and innovate in aviation technology. Officials noted that collaboration in research could lead to safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly aviation practices.

Both Iran and the UAE expect the preliminary aviation agreement to strengthen long-term relations in the aviation sector. They hope it will create opportunities for future collaborations, including new routes, workforce training, and technical partnerships. The agreement also reflects a shared commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

As the visit continues, officials from both nations are exploring additional areas for cooperation. They aim to enhance communication, streamline operations, and build a stronger partnership in aviation. The agreement marks a significant step toward closer ties and improved regional air connectivity.
