Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said in a statement that the country faces a full-scale war with the United States, Israel, and Europe. Speaking to the Supreme Leader’s official website, he described the current pressure campaign as more complex and damaging than past conflicts. He added that adversaries target Iran in multiple ways, going beyond conventional military strikes.

Pezeshkian stated, “They do not want our country to stand on its own feet.” He compared the current situation to the Iran–Iraq war, noting that today’s conflict is far more difficult and multifaceted. “Back then, the situation was clear. Today, adversaries pressure us in every domain,” he explained.

During the previous war, Iran knew its targets and could strike back directly. Today, however, the country faces political, economic, cultural, and security pressures that corner it on multiple fronts. Pezeshkian stressed that these actions aim to weaken Iran systematically without clear military confrontation.

Tensions are rising between Iran and Israel. Israeli leaders view Iranian missile drills as possible cover for future operations. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to meet U.S. officials to discuss potential military options against Tehran. Israeli military officials also warned that recent Iranian missile movements could hide preparations for surprise attacks, and they informed U.S. Central Command to coordinate monitoring and defensive measures.

Pezeshkian highlighted that Iran now has stronger military and defensive capabilities than during previous conflicts with Israel. He warned that any aggressive moves by adversaries will face decisive retaliation. In addition, improvements in manpower, weapon systems, and strategic readiness indicate Tehran is prepared for a prolonged confrontation.

Recent clashes have already caused heavy casualties. Israel struck Iranian military and nuclear sites, killing more than a thousand people, including senior officials. In retaliation, Iran launched missile and drone attacks against Israeli targets, killing multiple individuals. The United States assisted Israel in intercepting Iranian attacks and later struck Iranian nuclear facilities to limit Tehran’s operational capabilities.

Analysts warn that the Iran war could escalate further as Tehran continues defending its interests and signaling strength internationally. Furthermore, the conflict affects regional stability, energy markets, and international diplomacy. Experts note that combined military and economic pressures make resolving the situation highly complex.

Looking ahead, the Iran war may shape regional security strategies, military planning, and diplomatic negotiations. Both Tehran and its adversaries appear ready for prolonged confrontations, suggesting that tensions could continue without an immediate resolution.
