Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said that Iran will win in any confrontation with the United States and Israel. He delivered his remarks during a ceremony marking the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi, a highly respected figure in Islam. The event also celebrated the 33rd anniversary of the Al-Mahdi Schools Association, known for promoting Islamic education in Lebanon. Qassem emphasized that all Muslims believe in the eventual appearance of Imam Mahdi. This belief inspires hope and encourages patience until the ultimate victory arrives. He then highlighted Iran’s strength, stating, “Iran will win against America and Israel in the current confrontation.”
The Hezbollah leader praised the Al-Mahdi Schools Association for its national education program. Following the teachings of the prophets, the schools encourage love for the homeland and support for the oppressed. He added that the institution has earned recognition as one of the top schools in Lebanon. He also paid tribute to key figures who died defending their land, including Sayyed Abdul Karim Nassrallah and Hajj Abu Ahmed Salhab. These martyrs, he said, represent the fight against foreign aggression.
Qassem criticized global American influence, arguing that nations must choose whether to protect their rights or surrender their land. Defending sovereignty, he insisted, is a duty for all citizens, not a choice. He explained that attacks on villages like Kfar Tibnit and Ain Qana aim to create fear and force people to give up resistance. Citizens, Qassem urged, must remain steadfast and not surrender.
He called for unity among everyone willing to confront foreign pressure. Lebanese officials, he added, should make it clear that no one can force the people to compromise. Thinking strategically, he said, is necessary to protect the land and achieve full sovereignty. In closing, the Hezbollah leader reaffirmed his central message: Iran will win. Strength, faith, and perseverance will guide the people to ultimate success. Citizens must defend their country and support sovereignty. Acting together, they can overcome aggression and secure a strong future.
