Iran warns US to act independently in its foreign policy. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei, spoke on Tuesday about recent international developments. Moreover, he criticized Israel’s role in regional diplomacy and asked Washington not to let other countries influence its decisions. Baghaei also discussed the ongoing nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington. He said skepticism exists because of the past actions of the United States. “We cannot enter diplomacy without considering what happened in the last 10 to 15 years,” he said. Additionally, he added that even the US actions over the last seven to eight months must be considered.

The Iranian diplomat said current threats and sanctions mean Tehran must act very cautiously. However, he emphasized that Iran has never avoided diplomacy. “Our positions are just, reasoned, and based on international law and the legitimate demands of the Iranian people,” Baghaei said. Furthermore, he added that Iran decided to engage in new diplomatic talks when other countries reached out. He described the restart of talks as an important beginning. “This is only the start. We will watch closely to see how the other side acts,” he said. At the same time, Baghaei warned that any attack on Iran would face a decisive response.

Baghaei also criticized Israel’s role in blocking diplomacy. He said Washington must act on its own and not follow Israel. Moreover, he called Israel a main source of insecurity in West Asia for decades. Additionally, he blamed Israel for creating false fears about Iran’s nuclear program. The spokesman spoke about violence in Palestine and Lebanon. He said attacks continued even after ceasefires. Furthermore, he criticized the United States for being lenient toward Israel. Baghaei added that Israel’s actions have long caused instability in the region. Finally, he highlighted Iran’s efforts to strengthen ties with neighbors. He mentioned recent visits by Iran’s Defense Minister to Baku and Iran’s top security official to Oman and Qatar.

These steps aim to boost regional cooperation and stability. Therefore, Iran warns US to make independent decisions and avoid outside influence. Baghaei made it clear that Iran will protect its interests through diplomacy. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of careful negotiation and regional collaboration. Iran warns US against outside influence while pursuing fair diplomacy. Moreover, the country remains committed to international law and its people’s legitimate demands. Finally, Iran warns US that diplomacy must remain cautious but firm.
