Iran emphasizes regional security as its top priority, according to the country’s Army spokesman. Furthermore, Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia stated on Tuesday that Iran must defend itself strongly to prevent future attacks. Amid ongoing military operations, Iran has targeted American and Israeli positions. In addition, the Armed Forces have carried out consistent retaliatory strikes. These actions aim to establish a lasting deterrence against aggression.
“What we seek throughout this war is to create deterrence. Therefore, we act to prevent future attacks against our country,” Akraminia said. He added that Iran’s deterrence capabilities have grown, consequently ensuring national protection. Moreover, the Army spokesman predicted the emergence of a new regional order after the conflict. He described a future in which American influence diminishes, and regional countries actively participate in security arrangements. “Iran has long advocated such a scenario. Indeed, the countries of this region are our friends,” he noted.
In addition, Akraminia criticized the United States, claiming its policies support the Israeli regime’s regional dominance. He argued that Washington has sought to strengthen Israel’s security to maintain its so-called superiority. According to the official, American support involves encouraging plans to expand Israeli-occupied territories across West Asia, including parts of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Furthermore, he warned that these ambitions threaten regional security and aim to destabilize neighboring countries. Americans pursue disintegration schemes to boost Israel’s influence. Thus, Iran must resist to prevent this,” he said.
Additionally, the Army spokesman hailed Iran’s Armed Forces for disrupting American military networks in the region. He claimed that sustained retaliatory strikes have destroyed most of the US military outposts built over five decades. “Consequently, the American order, constructed across the region, has fallen apart today,” Akraminia stated. Experts note that Iran’s focus on regional security reflects broader concerns about sovereignty and influence in West Asia. Analysts also observe that Tehran’s strategy may alter power dynamics and reduce foreign intervention.
Moving forward, Iran signals it will continue strengthening deterrence measures. Officials stress the importance of maintaining operational readiness to secure national borders and promote stability. In particular, regional security remains a guiding principle for both current and future actions. In conclusion, Iran asserts that its military strategy prioritizes regional security. Therefore, the country aims to prevent renewed aggression while reshaping the post-war regional landscape.
