The Iran War Escalation intensified Sunday as President Donald Trump promised overwhelming force against Tehran. He told reporters the United States would strike Iran hard and continue operations without a timetable.

Meanwhile, Israel expanded attacks while Iran launched additional missiles, deepening the rapidly widening regional conflict. The developments marked another dangerous phase in the Iran War Escalation gripping Middle Eastern politics.

Trump emphasized determination, saying American forces will act decisively until Iran halts aggression across the region. He also avoided predicting an end date, repeating that military action will continue “whatever it takes.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Israel’s campaign inside Iran would continue at full force. Israeli aircraft struck additional targets early Sunday, seeking to weaken Iranian missile and command infrastructure.

At the same time, Iranian forces launched missile barrages toward Israel, escalating regional alarm further. Regional governments watched closely because expanding hostilities threaten shipping routes, energy markets, and fragile diplomacy.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian initially attempted to ease tensions with neighboring Gulf states during televised remarks. He apologized for earlier strikes nearby and promised suspensions unless attacks originated from those countries.

However, hours later, he clarified Iran targeted American bases and facilities rather than friendly neighbors. The conflicting messages reflected intense pressure inside Tehran as leaders manage wartime strategy and diplomacy.

Meanwhile, Iran’s clerical establishment accelerated discussions over leadership after Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s death recently. Khamenei died February twenty-eighth when American airstrikes struck Iranian targets during the conflict’s opening.

His death shocked the political system and forced clerics to urgently organize succession deliberations. Ayatollah Mohammed Mehdi Mirbagheri signaled progress Sunday while addressing the influential Assembly of Experts members.

He said clerics nearly reached an agreement on Iran’s next supreme leader despite several obstacles remaining. The Assembly of Experts includes senior clerics responsible for selecting and supervising Iran’s supreme leader.

Analysts say rapid selection could stabilize governance during the ongoing Iran War Escalation crisis. Still, uncertainty persists because military confrontations continue expanding across multiple fronts throughout the Middle East.

Diplomats warn that prolonged fighting could disrupt trade corridors and provoke broader international security consequences worldwide. Consequently, global leaders urge restraint while watching closely for signals that negotiations might eventually resume.
